The WNBA Players’ Association and Panini have renewed their exclusive trading card partnership for several more years. Since 2019, Panini has been the creator of WNBA cards across popular series like Donruss, Prizm, and Select, as well as luxury lines such as Flawless and National Treasures. This new arrangement, managed by OneTeam Partners, is described by Panini as the most rewarding licensing deal for female athletes. Financial terms have not been revealed.
Panini will continue as the exclusive producer of WNBA trading cards and will also offer digital collectibles, including Panini Instant. The company aims to increase its investments in player marketing, product development, autograph deals, and event sponsorships, including the WNBPA Rookie Premiere.
Interest in the WNBA has surged, fueled by stars like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, and Paige Bueckers. The Las Vegas Aces, led by MVP A’ja Wilson, recently clinched the league title. Panini has already launched the 2025 Donruss WNBA set, with Panini Prizm WNBA and the first Panini Impeccable WNBA release coming soon. More releases are planned but not yet disclosed.
